Teacher trainings
What is the difference between the 50H and the 100H Yin Yoga Teacher Training?
The 50H training covers the foundational knowledge needed to teach Yin Yoga, entirely in person, with a focus on functional anatomy and myofascial meridians. The 100H training goes further in depth and is a hybrid format, 50 hours online plus 50 hours in person in Ubud, Bali, with the online portion accessible for life. It also covers topics the 50H program does not, including the five elements, the organs, TCM meridian theory and Yoga Nidra.
Do I need to be a yoga teacher to join?
No. The 100H training welcomes committed practitioners as well as certified teachers, and no prior teaching experience is required. The 50H training in Lombok does not require a formal teaching certification either, though it is structured as YACEP continuing education and is best suited to teachers or committed practitioners with prior yoga experience.
When is the 100H Yin Yoga Teacher Training and how much does it cost?
The online part runs 1–17 September 2027 and the in-person part runs 22–28 September 2027 in Ubud, Bali. Early bird packages are IDR 19,500,000 without accommodation (about EUR 951), IDR 27,800,000 for double occupancy (about EUR 1,356) and IDR 31,700,000 for single occupancy (about EUR 1,546). Early bird rates end on 1 July 2027, after which the normal rates apply, each IDR 2,000,000 higher. See the 100H page for every package.
What format are the online sessions of the 100H?
The 50 hours of online study are delivered through live sessions, allowing real-time connection with teachers and fellow students.
When is the 50H Yin Yoga Teacher Training in Lombok and how much does it cost?

Sahaja: where should I arrive?
You can arrive in Lombok through Lombok International Airport or one of the main harbours. Airport or harbour pickup is included in the retreat package. We generally recommend arriving by airplane, as the fast boat journey can sometimes be long and uncomfortable depending on weather conditions.
Sahaja: when should I arrive?
The retreat officially begins at 3:00 PM on the first day. Arriving earlier that morning is completely fine. Please allow enough time for possible flight delays, transport and settling in before we begin together.
Sahaja: what meals are included, and can you accommodate dietary needs?
The package includes 2 meals per day: breakfast daily, plus either lunch or dinner depending on the schedule. The remaining meal is left free so you can explore the area at your own pace. We provide vegan and vegetarian meals. Please inform us in advance about any allergies or specific dietary needs and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Sahaja: do I need to bring yoga equipment?
No, we provide yoga mats, blocks, bolsters and all basic props needed. Feel free to bring any personal equipment you love practicing with if it helps you feel more at home.
Sahaja: is transportation provided during the retreat?
Yes. We provide shuttle transport to nearby beaches and towns during the retreat. Airport or harbour pickup in Lombok is also included in the package.
Sahaja: are massages available?
Yes. Massage treatments are available during the retreat for an additional charge.
Sahaja: what should I pack, and what is the weather like in February?
Light comfortable clothing, a light sweater or shawl for mornings and evenings, swimwear, sunscreen, insect repellent, a reusable water bottle, personal medication, a journal or notebook, and comfortable sandals or walking shoes. February falls in Lombok’s wet season, so the island is warm, humid and very green, with tropical rain that is often short but can be heavy. Bring a light rain layer too.
Sahaja: what currency should I bring?
The currency in Indonesia is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). We recommend carrying some cash for smaller shops, cafés or transport.
